Redesigned the message page on the Patient Management Platform (Web) for healthcare providers. Conducted usability tests with 7 users across the top 5 active clinics, yielding 57% positive feedback and 29% neutral feedback.
Background
The Patient Management Platform (PMP) is a web-based system tailored for healthcare providers, enabling clinics to monitor and manage data for their diabetes patients. And the message page helps healthcare providers to answer patients questions in real time.
Problem
Clinics find it bothersome that all messages from the same patient are expanded on the message page, making it hard to quickly gauge the number of unique patient messages they need to address.
Usability Testing
After designing the initial version, we conducted usability testing with 7 healthcare providers to gather feedback to aid in our iteration process.
